Directed by Benny Boom, the visuals see K. Michelle perform the track while she plays narrator to the scenes being played out. K. Michelle reflects on a relationship with a guy she just can't let go of. Scenes of K. in a black wrap dress with gold cuffs, paired with shots of her performing with two back up singers/dancers, bring the video clip together.

Love the video. Makes me like the song more. At first I was weary about the song choice as the first single, but K. Michelle and her people did the right thing releasing the audio for us to get used to before dropping the visuals. She looks amazing rocking out in that black dress. A step in the right direction.

V.S.O.P. is of coarse K. Michelle's lead single off of her album Rebellious Soul, which is due August 13 on Atlantic Records.

LMFAO: Foxy Brown Falls Flat During Performance

Your favourite female rapper Foxy Brown was out celebrating Gay Pride this weekend in New York.

During an appearance at NYC's El Morocco nightclub, Ms Brown took it to the stage to perform a brand new single.

Dressed in a leopard print bodysuit, some shades and several blinding belts, Foxy Brown calls for the DJ as she chants in grunts her way into the performance. Foxy spits a few bars before calling the track back, pausing for dramatic effect. In doing so, Foxy struts across the stage as the crowd screams when suddenly, the rap-stress seemingly falls off stage.

Foxy Brown has been out of the limelight for quite a while now, and to return like this is awful. She didn't look her best, she seemed quiet off in the face, and that fall was just... no words. No words, but loads of laughs. I really can't stop laughing. Did you see how her $2 belt broke? LMFAO!! OMG I'm going to hell LMFAO!

Lady Gaga Sings National Anthem In NYC

After taking some time out of the spotlight, Lady Gaga returns in celebration for LGBT equality at New York City Gay Pride.

Lady Gaga took to the stage in a moving speech in support of the Defense of Marriage Act, followed by a rendition of the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’.

Queen Latifah Is Back With A New Talk Show

Queen Latifah is back with her new talk show ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ debuting later on this year!

Ms Latifah will be launching her self-titled talk show on CBS on September 16, but she will first travel the country this summer to shoot field pieces and do local publicity in a half dozen cities.

Queen‘s show will feature celebrity guests, heartwarming stories about real people, and even some segments with the host singing and performing!

Beyonce To Slay Auckland Stage In October

Stars in the #BeyHive heavens have answered your prayers!

According to the New Zealand Herald, Beyonce will be slaying the Vector Arena stage in October. My heart just fell in my hands... EXCITING!!!

The Herald on Sunday understands Beyonce will rock Auckland's Vector Arena in October.

The show will top a busy few weeks for the venue, with a series of gigs the same month by chart-topping singer Rihanna and British boy band One Direction.

Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter - married to rap idol Jay-Z - will bring her spectacular Mrs Carter show to the Auckland venue after performing in Puerto Rico at the end of September.

Vector Arena general manager Brendan Hines said talks to bring Beyonce had started several months ago but plans were put off after it was rumoured the star was pregnant.

Mother-of-one Beyonce recently denied the pregnancy rumours and has carried on with her world tour.

"We were in discussions with Beyonce's management to bring her to New Zealand, then all the talk started about her being pregnant and suddenly it was all in doubt," said Hines.

It is thought people-power may have influenced the Single Ladies singer's decision to travel south.

A Facebook petition for the singer to come to New Zealand has been backed by more than 20,000 fans.

We all know those King Bey' ticket prices will be through the roof, so start saving your coins children!!

Solange Performs 'Losing You' At Glastonbury 2013

Solange took her alternative R&B sound to the 2013 Glastonbury stage to perform a rousing set.

Looking effervescent in knee length braids and a vibrant Teatum Jones geometrical top with matching pants, Solange performed a nine song set including, ...Lovers in the Parking Lot, Sandcastle, and closing out with her worldwide hit, Losing You.

This performance comes two years after Solange's big sister Beyonce headlined the UK festival.

Solange will be releasing third album Sole Responsibility later this year on Terrible records, after spending the better part of 12 months in the recording studio with producer Dev Hynes.

Chris Brown's Tattoos Scared Car Victim To Death Through His Long Sleeved Shirt

A lady named Olga got into a car accident with Chris Brown last month and is alleging that Chris gave her false insurance and registration information.

Olga claims her blood pressure went through the roof after her car accident with Brown last month. She says she was "scared to death" because he was driving a huge SUV and was covered in tattoos.

Olga says the only thing she got from Brown, who has been charged with criminal hit-and-run over the crash, was expired insurance for his Lamborghini. He was driving his Range Rover at the time. Brown's lawyer claims the singer also gave her his Virginia license, but the accuser says that's not true.

Hmmm...

So even though Chris was wearing a dark coloured long sleeved shirt, she was scared to death. OK...

I don't believe this woman for a second. She barely makes eye contact with the camera when being questioned. And from the footage that was captured of the incident, she couldn't have been that scared because she followed him on foot to his car. Actions of a 'scared to death' person? I don't think so!

Rihanna Announces Judges For US Reality Series 'Styled To Rock'

Rihanna drops a promo clip for her upcoming Style Network show, Styled to Rock.

The show, which launched first in a UK, is now getting a US launch. Rihanna will take a back seat as the executive-producer of the show.

Styled To Rock is a competition show. The show will follow 12 up and coming designers as they compete in creating unique pieces for celebrity clients. Hip-Hop producer and Billionaire Boys club founder Pharrell Williams is one of the judges, alongside Model and designer Erin Wasson, and Rihanna's stylist Mel Ottenberg.

"Styled To Rock," will premiere this year with 12 episodes.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Rasheeda recently premiered the video for her new single, “Hit It From The Back.”

We all saw the drama that went on behind the scenes, on set at the shooting of Rasheeda's video. And now we get to see, the very pregnant self-proclaimed “Georgia Peach,” spit out sexually charged lyrics which leave very little to the imagination.

All in all, the video quality is very good. One of Rasheeda's better video's. But at the same time, the content is very nonchalant. The fact that she's pregnant and spitting these kinds of lyrics is very off. I just think at this point and time, and at the age that she is, it be in her best interest to steer clear of such forceful, vulgar, lyrical content.

All season one cast members return with new addition, Shamicka Lawrence. Shamicka is the recently divorced wife of comedian and actor Martin Lawrence. Daphne Wayans was also rumoured to be part of the cast, but was allegedly fired due to being too difficult to deal with. Daphne is of coarse, the ex-wife of Keenan Ivory Wayans.

Eve also shared that a famous rapper, who remains nameless, called her before the release of her debut album Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady to discourage her, telling her things like, 'female rappers usually don't sell that much'. Shame on him because Eve became only the third female hip-hop artist to have her album debut at number one on the Billboard 200.

Check out the official remix to Mariah Carey's #Beautiful featuring A$AP Rocky.

The track is exactly the same. It still features Miguel, with the addition of A$AP Rocky's verse. Mariah has plans to release another four versions with re-sung vocals, including a Spanglish version (“Hermosa”), a hip-hop collaboration, and dance remixes.

This remix is nice, but it really isn't necessary. It doesn't have the impact nor the excitement a Mariah Carey remix usually brings. And with four other versions due to be released, this is one we could've done without.

WILL.I.AM Files Lawsuit Against Pharrell Williams

Yes! You read right. Black Eyed Peas front man WILL.I.AM filed lawsuit against music producer Pharrell Williams over a branding dispute.

Mr WILL.I.AM claims he owns the copyright to the phrase "I AM" and Williams' new creative brand "i am OTHER" is too "confusingly similar". In his official notice of opposition, WILL.I.AM states, "The registration of the mark... is likely to dilute the I AM mark and the WILL.I.AM mark."

Williams' lawyers have promptly filed a response to refute the allegation. Pharrell tells Rolling Stone magazine:

"I am disappointed that Will, a fellow artist, would file a case against me. I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will's trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as merit-less and ridiculous as I do."

Dear WILL.I.AM. Have a seat. Granted that you trademarked the phrase, we all know it was Beyonce that made the phrase a trend. And I bet you trademarked "I AM" after the release of "I AM... Sasha Fierce". In all honesty, nobody even cares. We don't know your brand nor Pharrell's enough to even care to get them confused. Leave it alone and save yourself a headache.

Rihanna Drags Journalist On Instagram

You'd think people would have learnt by now that Rihanna, don't play!

Ms Rihanna took it to her infamous Instagram account to respond to a journalist who wrote a vicious article about her. Daily Mail writer Elizabeth Ann Jones decided to aim some slick words at the bajan beauty in an article posted yesterday. Elizabeth labels Rihanna as “Pop’s poisonous princess: Glorying in drugs, guns and sleaze, Rihanna’s toxic role model for her army of young fans.”

Throughout her article Elizabeth expresses her no holds barred opinions, and despise for Ms Fenty.

“I wish she’d stop infecting our High Streets with her gun tattoos, her false nails and fake hair, her bogus bad-ass shenanigans that try to portray her as ‘real’, as ‘street’, as her own person, as strong and single-minded.”

Rihanna caught whiff of the story and took to her Instagram account with her ever so eloquent way with words to fire back.

LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here’s a toxic tip: don’t be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter! American Idol Winner Candice Glover's Album Pushed Back

Fans will have to wait as Candice Glover's album gets pushed back from it's previous release date, July 16.

Music Speaks will now be released August 27. Which is 6 weeks after the original release date.

This is great news. Ever since Idol wrapped up we haven't seen that much of Candice. If the album is anything like her lead single, they need to add more R&B. Candice's coronation single 'I Am Beautiful' had the worst first week sales of any American Idol winner. In my opinion, the song was too Pop. Candice is an R&B singer. People understand her as an R&B singer. The label should cater to that.

Mariah Carey Pushes Back Album Release Date

Mariah Carey has taken to Twitter to tell fans that she is delaying her upcoming album, which was set for release on July 23!

“While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” she tweets.

Mariah adds, “I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard.When I’m ready, you’ll be the first 2 know!”

I for one am glad to hear this. Mariah is going to need at least one more hit single before this album drops. Therefore she will have plenty time to do so. I just hope the push back is only another month because If it's longer, people would have given up already.

Drake Drops Four New Songs + Album Release Date

As the new season rolls in, Drake picks up momentum as he unveils four new tracks and the release date of his new album, Nothing Was the Same.

Drake recently posted four new tracks on his October’s Very Own blog, including ‘The Motion’, featuring Sampha, and ‘Jodeci Freestyle’, featuring J. Cole. He also shared two tracks he features on: PartyNextDoor’s ‘Over Here’ and ‘Versace’ by Migos.

No word as to whether any of these tracks have made the album's final cut, but definitely four new tracks worth checking out.

Sean Paul seeks 'Entertainment' in his newly surfaced single.

The track features rappers Juicy J and 2 Chainz and is produced by Maejor Ali, SixOne, Young Yonny, and Chef Tone. 'Entertainment' acts as one of two first singles from Sean Paul's sixth studio album, due later this year.

Jay-Z Unveils 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' Cover Art & Track-Listing

Jay-Z has revealed the track-listing and cover art for his forthcoming LP, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Mr. Carter chose to hold a hunt in Brooklyn to reveal the track-list of the album. Clues were sent out via Twitter and the actual tracks then unveiled through books that contained the titles of the songs.

Little else is known about the upcoming release, apart from the contributions of Rick Rubin, Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.

Fifth Harmony took it to KIIS FM to perform an acoustic rendition of their upcoming single, 'Miss Movin’ On'.

'Miss Movin’ On' will be Fifth Harmony's official first single. with their careers under the watchful eye of Simon Cowell. Fifth Harmony are signed to Syco Music/Epic Records.

Madonna Unveils Violent Teaser For Mysterious #SecretProject

Madonna has unveiled a short clip of #SecretProject, a mysterious endeavor that she has kept in wraps. The black and white footage is the first glimpse of the project that Madonna has been working on with photographer Steven Klein.

The trailer offers nothing specific. We see a man being violently slammed to the floor by four topless men before hurtling against glass. Clips of a ballet dancer dancing painted in white are merged with photos of a room littered with lifeless bodies. And a scene where Madonna is seen standing over a dancer with a gun before apparently pulling the trigger.

Whatever this is, she surely has my attention. The guy she guns down looks a little like her boy-toy Brahim Zaibat, doesn't it?!

As everybody awaits the debut numbers of her album's first week sales, Kelly Rowland unveils two teasers for her music video, 'Dirty Laundry'.

Both teasers see Kelly in different settings playing narrator, as she also plays out a sequence of events. In this clip she's sitting across from her date when he abruptly leaves the table, spilling red wine all over her.

I really can't wait for this video to debut.
