American Idol fans can now rejoice as one of their past faves returns to the judging panel.
According to US Weekly, Jennifer Lopez is officially confirmed to be returning to the show. After months of speculation, and even though Fox has yet to make their own announcement, it seems the deal is sealed and Jennifer Lopez will be joining returning judge Keith Urban next season.
We all heard the rumours about the shows producers allegedly conspiring last season behind Mariah Carey's back, to bring back J.Lo mid season and replace the veteran diva. Their plans came to a halt when Mariah threatened to sue.
Good choice or bad, Jennifer belongs on this show. Ever since she was added to the judges panel in season 10, the ratings soared and she became the shows fan favourite. I truly believe it was stupid of the show to let her go in the first place.
