How You Doin?! Talk show host Wendy Williams is set to make her Broadway debut in Chicago, a seven-week limited engagement beginning June 25. Williams will play Matron “Mama” Morton in the musical, meaning she’ll also get one big solo number, “When You’re Good to Mama.”
The role, for which Queen Latifah earned an Oscar nomination in 2003, casts Williams as a corrupt jail-cell mastermind.
