Brandy fans, and Jessie J fans alike, have been buzzing about the news of a Jessie J and Brandy collaboration, ever since Jessie J broke the exclusive to Kiss FM Breakfast Show in the UK.
Recently, while fulfilling obligations at this years Essence Festival, Brandy sat down with TrueExclusives and spoke about the duet.
"I heard the song, Claude Kelly wrote the song... I sang it and it was chemistry. I can't wait 'til everyone hears it," says the veteran.
It's great to see Brandy embracing this new generation, and I can't wait to hear this duet. At this stage of Brandy's career, it's more of a chemistry factor when it comes to decisions on whether to collab' on a track or not. As opposed to getting on something just for good publicity. She's been around long enough and done enough to have that right.
