Fantasia premieres her new video 'Without Me' featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.
The Dennis Leupold and Steven Gomillion directed visuals see the girls in different settings, laying out their respective verses. Kelly Rowland and Fantasia attempt to do some choreography together, and Missy rocks out in some shades and a pink collared, black leather suit.
The video is just OK to me. The quality of the finish is amazing but the content is so nonchalant. The close up shots of the girls are beautiful but the rest could've been left behind. In all honesty, Kelly Rowland made this video worth watching. The pulsing red light in the middle of the screen was annoying, and Fantasia could have kept her dancing.
I would have taken the 'less is more' approach rather than this. Seems so messy. Lazy editing.
And yes, that is the same jacket Britney Spears wore in the 'Scream and Shout' remix video.
